We began using our denominations new hymnal (Evangelical Lutheran Worship) in October of 2006.
Click the links below to learn more and to sample some
of the different types of service music within our new hymnal. We are still in a process of getting used to the changes it brings and growing into our use of it. Communion is celebrated the first and third Sundays of the month as well as festival days. Worship currently balances between our use of Setting 1 which is more formal in nature and our use of other service music (samples not below) which have a more contemporary flare. For example, the service music we use in June, July and August when our service time changes to 10 a.m. might be considered a bit more contemporaty as the service is best supported by the piano.
