ELCA Youth Gathering

Every three years, tens of thousands of ELCA Lutheran youth and leaders gather in a city to worship and praise God, to learn and study, and to serve their neighbors. Trademark orange t-shirts easily identify the participants who witness through presence and service in the cities who host the Gathering. Because of COVID 19, the next gathering will happen in 2022.
The next Youth Gathering will be held June 24, 2022 to June 28, 2022 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Youth who are in 8th to 12th grade at the time of registration (Fall 2021) are eligible to attend. Adult leaders must be at least 21 at the time of the Gathering. The recommended ratio is one adult for every seven youth. We encourage our youth that are not eligible to attend the 2022 Gathering as a participant to look into our unique volunteer opportunities for young adults. Our congregation will be fundraising, selecting leaders (1:5 adult to student ratio) and preparing for the Gathering together. |
